Celebrating Excellence in Education: Ronald Manningham, CRNA, Receives 2025 HFMG Career Educator Award

Ronald Manningham

The Michigan Association of Nurse Anesthetists is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of one of our own. Ronald Manningham, CRNA, has been named the 2025 Henry Ford Medical Group (HFMG) Career Educator Award recipient by the Advanced Practice Providers Leadership Committee (HALC). He will be honored at the Henry Ford Jubilee Gala on October 18, 2025.

A Legacy of Mentorship and Teaching

For more than 30 years, Ron has been the leading educator of student registered nurse anesthetists (SRNAs) at Henry Ford Health. His influence extends beyond the clinical environment, as he also served as a faculty member at the University of Detroit Mercy during his career. Through his dedication to teaching, Ron has helped shape the professional journeys of countless nurse anesthesia graduates, many of whom now practice throughout Michigan and beyond.

A Passion that Inspires

Colleagues describe Ron as a mentor who embodies both excellence and compassion. His commitment to preparing future generations of CRNAs has strengthened Henry Ford’s program, elevated the profession, and left a lasting mark on the community he serves. This award is a fitting recognition of the countless hours he has devoted to education and mentorship.

Recognition Beyond the Individual

While the HFMG Career Educator Award honors Ron’s remarkable contributions, it also reflects the values of collaboration, service, and excellence that are central to nurse anesthesia practice. His example reminds us of the profound impact one dedicated educator can have—not just on individual students, but on the entire healthcare system.

As we celebrate Ron’s achievement, we also recognize the ripple effect of his work: healthier patients, better-prepared practitioners, and a stronger community of advanced practice providers.
